Archive Admin tasks

Archive Administration is done client side using the Launchpad API through various tools. To get hold of these tools:

$ git clone lp:ubuntu-archive-tools

Tasks and responsibilities

The main tasks the Archive Admin team is responsible for are:

• NEW review

• Remove a package

• Package overrides

Less commonly, they are asked to do the following tasks:

• Priority mismatches

• Signing bootloaders

• Change phasing on delivering SRU updates

• i386 allowlist updates

• Check contributions to AA process and documentation

The following list of Archive-related services needs to be updated with details of the charmed hosted services as they are migrated.
